Overview

Living in Langley City

The City of Langley is a compact city of about ten square kilometres, completely surrounded by the Township of Langley. Its downtown along Fraser Highway and the One-Way has a walkable mix of independent shops, restaurants and services.

Langley City Centre station will be the terminus of the Surrey Langley SkyTrain extension, a 16-kilometre Expo Line extension with eight new stations scheduled to open in fall 2029; Willowbrook station will also serve the area. The City has planned for more homes and jobs around the future stations, so the downtown is expected to see significant new development.
